chinese rock without the ramones

Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of the only good live music I have experienced since I have been here but picture this...

A tall Chinese man in traditional dress but with an electric guitar and a deep voice.  I went to a venue called D22 a week or so ago and I'd like to go back, but they are temporarily closed for some reason. 

I did buy a few cds of bands i didnt see live and I like them alright.

The rest of the music scene here I have found is exactly what I expected...pop rock etc.

Oh and did I mention they love karaoke here? More on that later though.
